tasks and research:
neuronal mechanisms goal-directed spatial navigation in humans
running EEG, robot-assisted TMS, virtual reality, and simultaneous EEG-fMRI experiments on spatial navigation
developing a novel real-time EEG-TMS closed-loop system for the application in humans
analyzing anatomical MRI data (T1, resting state, diffusion imaging) and running electric field simulations to create individualized TMS targets
supervision of interns and research assistants
teaching:
introduction to neuroscience for undergraduate neuroscience students
EEG theory, application, and analysis
scientific writing and critical evaluation of research papers for graduate neuroscience students
