About the position

tasks and research:

  • neuronal mechanisms goal-directed spatial navigation in humans
  • running EEG, robot-assisted TMS, virtual reality, and simultaneous EEG-fMRI experiments on spatial navigation
  • developing a novel real-time EEG-TMS closed-loop system for the application in humans
  • analyzing anatomical MRI data (T1, resting state, diffusion imaging) and running electric field simulations to create individualized TMS targets
  • supervision of interns and research assistants
  • teaching:

  • introduction to neuroscience for undergraduate neuroscience students
  • EEG theory, application, and analysis
  • scientific writing and critical evaluation of research papers for graduate neuroscience students
